Mark Werbner Selected to 2027 Best Lawyers in America
Trial lawyer Mark Werbner has been selected to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, continuing a run of recognition from the peer-reviewed legal guide that dates back more than two decades.
Mark is recognized in three areas:

- Bet-the-Company Litigation
- Criminal Defense: White Collar
“I’m grateful to once again be recognized by my peers, particularly across three areas that have been such an important part of my practice throughout my career,” Mark said. “Every case presents its own challenges, and I’ve always believed the best way to serve a client is to understand what is truly at stake and be prepared to take the case as far as necessary.”
With more than 40 years of experience and having tried approximately 150 jury trials, Mark represents companies and individuals in complex civil litigation, business disputes, white-collar criminal matters and government investigations. His work has included cases involving business torts and fraud allegations, patent disputes, financial and health care fraud, federal procurement fraud, tax matters and other high-stakes disputes.
Mark is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has earned recognition from a number of leading legal publications and organizations throughout his career. His previous Best Lawyers honors include being named Dallas/Fort Worth “Lawyer of the Year” for Bet-the-Company Litigation in 2021 and for Criminal Defense: White Collar in 2018.
Best Lawyers recognition is based on peer review, with attorneys evaluating the professional abilities of colleagues within the same geographic region and practice area.
